Article Title: What Do the Top Three Drivers

Frost, TX based high school student Rustin Mayse took over the Super Pro national points lead in the Bracket Series last weekend on the strength of a Super Pro victory at the Rattlesnake Bracket Nationals in Tucson, AZ. There, the young Texan capped an amazing streak of fifteen consecutive rounds wins in the series by topping second place Luke Bogacki in the final round! With his win, Mayse became the first repeat winner along the Bracket Series this season.

In addition to the young Mayse’s success, his father, 2005 Million Dollar Race Runner-up Robbie Mayse, also advanced to the semi-final round in Sunday’s event, moving him into third place in the national points standings. What do each of these three competitors (Mayse, Mayse, and Bogacki) share in common; beyond the obvious determination, talent, and good fortune to reign over top of the nationwide field? Each of the three fields an American Race Cars Patriot Series Swing Arm Dragster!

American Race Cars, a fairly young company along the sportsman racing landscape, is run by former IHRA World Champion Mark Horton and multi-time national, divisional, and big bracket winner Travis Colangelo from their shop near Toledo, OH. Although the shop has been in business for just over two years, their line of Patriot Series dragsters has found immediate success throughout sportsman drag racing. In addition to the Mayse family and Luke Bogacki’s bracket success, American Race Cars have also found the winner circle in the hands of drivers including Scotty Richardson, Chris Wilson, Scotty & Todd Batyik, Jeff Brown, Dave Elrod, Dave Connolly, and more!

“We’re really excited to see our customers and our product experience success,” explained Horton. “I feel like we’ve got a solid product, that is comparable to our competitors in looks and performance, and we’ve got great introductory pricing right now as we try to establish a name for the company. It’s pretty amazing to see Rustin, Robbie, and Luke experience such unparalleled success along the DRR series, and we look forward to those three battling it out for the title in the last few events of the season!”

Along the Bracket Series, Rustin Mayse has picked up his two recent wins at Thunder Valley Raceway Park and Southwestern International Raceway, to go along with an early season runner-up finish at Abilene Dragway. Bogacki has appeared in five Super Pro final rounds, winning at Maple Grove Raceway and taking runner-up honors at Gainesville Raceway, Bluegrass Raceway Park, and twice last weekend at Southwestern International Raceway in Tucson, AZ.

As the series winds to a close in the coming weeks, all eyes will be on the father and son team of Robbie and Rustin Mayse, as well as Alabama racer Bogacki and other competitors including Drew Phillips, Kevin Rodden, and more as they take their shot at the Bracket Series Super Pro Championship. With just two events remaining: the World Finals at Indianapolis Raceway Park (October 21-22) and the Pro Bracket Masters Championship at South Georgia Motorsports Park (November 2-5), the points chase is coming down to the wire: with three American Race Cars Patriot Series Dragsters leading the charge!
